Access to and use of www.safeseen.co.uk is provided by The Print PPE Initiative which is backed and supported by the following companies: Data Image Group, Esko, Halo Agency, HP, PrintFactory, Pyramid, and VPress subject to the terms and conditions detailed below. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and any dispute arising from these Terms or your use www.safeseen.co.uk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Users: The website is intended for people accessing it from within the United Kingdom and therefore there is no implied guarantee that this site and the information contained therein complies with or is appropriate for use within other countries.

By using www.safeseen.co.uk (hereinafter referred to as “the website”) you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions which shall take effect immediately on your first use of the website. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and use the website.

Change of terms: We reserve the right to change these Terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by The Print PPE Initiative as your continued use after any changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions as updated and/or amended.

The website content: content on the website is provided for information purposes only and whilst every care is taken in compiling the information we do not make any warranties or representations as to the accuracy and reliability.

Use of the website content: You may not copy, reproduce, download, post, broadcast, transmit or otherwise use the website in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any of the website content except for your own personal, non commercial use. Any other use of the website content requires the prior written permission of The Print PPE Initiative.

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the right of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the website.

Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within.

Images and text used to generate face shields: you agree to not use images or text which contain any of the following:

  • Material which is defamatory of any person
  • Material which is pornographic, obscene, indecent or offensive
  • Material which promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
  • Material that is likely to incite hatred or violence against any person or group
  • Material that is likely to deceive any person
  • Material which relates to criminal acts
  • Material that infringes any copyright, trademark, database or other intellectual property right of any third party
  • Material made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party
  • Material which promotes any illegal activity
  • Material which is threatening, abusive or invades another’s privacy, causes annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety
  • Material which is likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person
  • Material used to impersonate any person or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person
  • Material that breaches any applicable laws or legislation

We have the right to remove any images, text and material if, in our opinion, the material does not comply with the above standards.

The website access: We shall not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time or for any period of time. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance, repair or for reasons beyond our control.

IP: The names, images and logos identifying Safe Seen, The Print PPE Initiative, the listed Partner companies and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks. Please note that all photographs must not be reproduced in any form.

Face shield messaging: By submitting your messaging you warrant that your text is

  • Not defamatory
  • Does not infringe any law or copyright

And you warrant to:

Indemnify Safe Seen, the Print PPE Initiative and the listed Partner companies against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by them collectively or individually as a result of your breach of the above warranty

Donations: Your order and donation constitutes an offer to us to buy face shield(s) and dispatch to a receiving organisation and to donate to our nominated charity. All orders and donations are subject to acceptance by us and we will confirm acceptance to you by electronic notification at the end of the ordering process. We are unable to issue an Order Confirmation until such time as the ordering process is complete. Once the Order Confirmation has been issued the order and donation cannot be varied without our prior written consent.

As all of the face shield designs are personalised by you, you will not have the right to cancel the supply once you have placed an order and donation. If an order and donation is incorrectly placed, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@safeseen.co.uk and we may, at our sole discretion, allow you to cancel the order and issue a refund to enable you to re-order and donate. Please note that if the order has already been submitted to print, we will be unable to issue such cancellation.

The donation payment is taken at the time that you place an order with us.

Delivery: Face shields are sent to receiving organisations within the United Kingdom in batches of x50 or x100. The dispatch timescales will be dependent upon requirements of receiving organisations and other incoming orders to make up an entire batch for send.

Requesting face shields: We will endeavour to supply face shields to requesting Organisations to the quantity and dates that they submit. However, we cannot guarantee nor is there any implied guarantee that the requests can be fulfilled. The request for face shields from requesting Organisations does not constitute any binding agreement nor contract with Safe Seen, the Print PPE Initiative and the listed Partner Companies.

Our liability: Safe Seen, the Print PPE Initiative and the listed Partner Companies shall not be liable in respect of any claim for damages, shortages or non-delivery. Nor do we give any representations, warranties or undertakings in relation to the face shields. We exclude all liability for any direct loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, waste of management or office time or any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising event if foreseeable. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these terms and conditions by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted in law.
